Effective Date 08/2/2025Welcome to Print for Figma (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We’re committed to respecting your privacy and keeping this policy as simple as possible. This Privacy Policy will help you understand how we collect, use, and disclose your information when you use our Figma plugin (the “Services”).
Important Note: Print for Figma uses Figma’s official payment system. All payment and account details, including personal and billing information, are handled entirely by Figma. Please see Figma’s Privacy Policy for information on how Figma processes your data.
2. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Print for Figma in connection with our plugin. It does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications, including Figma’s own services or payment platform. For any data that Figma collects or processes (such as user account details or billing information), please refer to Figma’s Privacy Policy.
3. PERSONAL INFORMATION Cloud Exports
- When you choose “Cloud” mode to export a file, we temporarily store that file on our servers for a maximum of 48 hours to facilitate the file export process. After 48 hours, the file is automatically deleted from our servers.
- We use Amplitude to collect anonymous usage data about how you interact with our plugin (e.g., feature use frequency). This data does not include personal identifiers such as your name or email. It only helps us improve the plugin by showing us overall usage trends.
4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION To Provide the Services
- We use your temporarily uploaded files solely to enable the file export functionality. Once the 48-hour window passes, these files are deleted.
- Anonymous metrics from Amplitude help us understand overall plugin performance, identify potential issues, and enhance functionality.
5. DISCLOSURES OF YOUR INFORMATION Figma
- All payment or account-level data (if any) is processed and stored by Figma, not by Print for Figma. See Figma’s Privacy Policy for more details.
- We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, respond to valid requests by public authorities, or prevent harm.
6. DATA RETENTION Cloud Exports
Exported files remain on our servers for up to 48 hours, after which they are automatically deleted.
Anonymous MetricsAggregated usage data is retained for analytical purposes and does not include any personal identifiers.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Print for Figma communicates with infrastructure hosted on the Amazon Web Services platform to facilitate cloud exports.
FigmaPrint for Figma uses the Figma Payments API for all payment and account functionality. For details on Figma’s practices, see Figma’s Privacy Policy.
AmplitudePrint for Figma collects anonymous usage analytics with Amplitude, an analytics provider. We encourage you to review Amplitude’s Privacy Policy for more on how they handle data.
8. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by posting the new policy and updating the “Effective Date” above.
